Easiest way i found to get rid of the Adobe ID popup is to put the following lines into your c:windowssystem32driversetchosts file.

Open the hosts file as Administrator and copy/paste these lines into it then reboot your computer:

The free functionality of this utility is great for adding quickview support to my InDesign files. The update supporting CC2018 will make it easier for us to update our files with the HD res preview. I know max-resolution previews embedded can add some bloat to the InDesign files, but it’s been a huge boost while collaborating with my non-InDesign using peers. Project managers love that they can “peek” at a file’s content without asking me to open the file for them (I try not to take that personally).
